Police investigators appear six hours after seizure of Guri City Hall.

[Seoul Police Agency Financial Criminal Investigation Unit: (You have been seized and searched for more than 5 hours. What kind of data are you mainly carrying?)… … .] The

targets for seizure and search are 5 locations, including Guri City Hall and the residence of Choi, a public official accused of speculation.

Choi is a team leader-level official in charge of the secretary office of Mayor Ahn Seung-nam, Guri.

[Ahn Seungnam/Guri Mayor: (Relevant to government officials) When conducting self-investigation, we organized all the data. They tell me to pay it all. We did everything exactly when we did it. That's why I don't understand that right now. I paid it, and the secretary's office paid it, and I paid it all.] The

real estate targeted by the police is in Sano-dong, Guri-si.

This is where Guri City announced in July last year that it would build a large complex logistics complex.

The police believe that Choi got involved in private labor development information, and in January and June of last year, Song Mo, an acquaintance, was involved in buying houses and land.

The total amount of purchases was over 2 billion won, and a significant portion was covered by bank loans.

In particular, houses are contained within the boundaries of'restricted areas for development activities'.

When the complex logistics complex is built, you can receive not only the relocation fee, but also the right to sell the relocated home.

A real estate expert in this region explained that the right to pre-sale of immigrant homes is about 600 to 700 million won in the so-called'premium' at the current market price.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Financial Crime Investigation Unit is analyzing the records of financial transactions between Song, the owner of the building and land on the Registered Register, and Choi, the head of the secretary's office.

The key is to find out how much money Mr. Choi's money was spent on purchasing the property.

Choi and Song are currently charged with violating the'Anti-Corruption Act' or the'Real Name Real Estate Act'.
