An Android version of Clubhouse will be rolling out worldwide in the coming weeks.

The developer of the app wrote this in a blog post on Sunday.

It is not yet known when the app will be available in the Netherlands.

The blog post states that a beta version is available on Google Play in the US.

The Android version is first tested among a small group of users who have received an invitation to do so.

The intention is that Clubhouse will first be rolled out in English-speaking countries in the coming days.

After that, the conversation app will be released worldwide in the coming weeks.

It is not clear which countries will be addressed first.

While the number of Clubhouse downloads has fallen sharply, users continue to use the app on a regular basis.

Many tech companies and platforms have set up their own conversation functionalities in recent months that have agreements with Clubhouse.

For example, Twitter has created the Spaces audio function.

It is currently only available to Twitterers with more than six hundred followers.

Facebook and Reddit also have conversation rooms.

Facebook has these in the form of Rooms, and Reddit has a feature specifically for moderators called Reddit Talk.
