It has been confirmed that the prosecution has requested an arrest warrant against former Kumho Asiana Group chairman Park Sam-koo, who is being investigated for unfairly supporting affiliates with a large stake in the key shares.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office Fair Trade Investigation Department (Director Min-hyung Kim) requested an arrest warrant against former Chairman Park Sam-koo, who is accused of violating the Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act or being resigned.

Former Chairman Park is accused of having major affiliates, including Asiana Airlines, unfairly support Kumho Holdings, which has a large total stake.

Former Chairman Park's side recently applied for a convocation of the Investigation Deliberation Committee to determine the adequacy of the prosecution's investigation, but it is known that the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office Citizen's Committee, which judges whether or not the investigation deliberation committee is rejected, has recently decided not to make a negative appeal to the deliberation committee.
