The prosecution is looking into whether the initial police investigation in the case of Son Jung-min (22), a college student who was found missing and dead in Han River Park, was insufficient.

It is based on the truth of Son's father, Son Hyun.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office will allocate the complaint case to the third criminal division to investigate whether the initial investigation by the police has proceeded properly.

Father Son said to reporters yesterday (4th) that, "We are asking the investigation not to be insufficient for fear that (the suspect) will not be prosecuted because no evidence comes out."

Son, a freshman in the main department of Chung-Ang University Medical School, fell asleep after drinking alcohol with his friend A at Banpo Hangang Park from around 11 pm on the 24th of last month to 2 am the next day, and then disappeared.

And five days later, it was found dead in the water of the Han River.

Friend A, who was drinking together, fell asleep and woke up at 4:30 a.m., but when he couldn't see Mr. Son, he thought he had gone home first, and told the police that he had gone home.

Meanwhile, the Blue House National Petition posted on the 3rd to reveal Son's autograph received the consent of about 350,000 people as of noon today.
