The police went into a seizure and search of the offices of the representative of the Free North Korean Movement Association, Park Sang-hak, who said that last month (6th) they sprayed warfare against North Korea twice in the vicinity of the DMZ.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Anconservative Affairs Division said this morning, "We are in the process of seizure and search for relevant places," and "we will investigate quickly and strictly."

Earlier, the Federation of Free North Korean Movements distributed 500,000 flyers to North Korea, 500 booklets, and 5,000 US dollar bills in 10 large organizations on two occasions in Gyeonggi Province and Gangwon-do adjacent to the DMZ on the 25th to 29th of last month. It said that it was blown away.

This is known as the first act of spreading warfare to North Korea after the revised bill on the development of inter-Korean relations (the Anti-North Korea Warfare Prohibition Act) was implemented in March this year.

This law stipulates that a maximum of three years in prison or a fine of not more than 30 million won can be punished for broadcasting loudspeakers and spreading leaflets in the military demarcation line.

Kim Yeo-jeong, vice president of the Central Committee of the North Korean Workers' Party of North Korea, issued a speech condemning the spreading of leaflets on the 2nd, and on the same day, chief of police officer Kim Chang-ryong rebuked the police for taking lukewarm initial measures against the spreading of leaflets and ordered a prompt investigation.
