It has been confirmed that about 10 executives and employees of VGlobal, a cryptocurrency exchange that are undergoing extensive police investigations for multi-level fraud charges, have been banned from leaving the country.

In summary, the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency's violent criminal investigation team has banned about 10 VGlobal's executives and employees who were accused of violating the law on the regulation of similar reception and fraud.

The police report that 17 people, including Lee Mo (31), received more than 2 trillion won in corporate bankbooks for at least 50,000 people from August last year to the latest.

Initially, the number of victims was 40,000 and the amount of damage was expected to be about KRW 1.7 trillion, but the number increased after seizure and search of 22 locations nationwide including the head office in Gangnam, Seoul on the 4th.

As the police are analyzing the list of members and employees secured by the company, it is highly likely that the number of victims and arrests will continue to increase.

The video briefing sessions conducted across the country obtained by SBS clearly contains the situation in which they have attracted members through a typical multi-level method.

"If you pay 6 million won and sign up as a member, you will earn 18 million won," said the company's employees.

The company also made alliances with 21 banks and deceived its members for receiving due diligence, but it turned out to be a lie.

A commercial bank official said, "We have formed a strategic partnership and there is no such thing at all."It seems like I just opened my account and promoted it like that,” he said.

The police are planning to call executives and others in turn to investigate sooner or later.
