<Anchor> The

day after tomorrow (8th) is Mother's Day, but nowadays it is not easy to visit a nursing facility due to corona. There are places where you can barely see your face through the glass wall, but there are facilities where families can hold hands and share warmth.

Reporter Ho-Geon Lee visited the site.

<Reporter> With a

glass wall in between, parents are inside and families are outside.

It is a so-called'corona separated family' that cannot do so even if they want to hold one hand.

But this place is a little different.

A 15m2 wooden house built in the courtyard of a nursing facility.

When you enter inside, you will see a meeting space that is decorated like a living room at home.

[Children Lim Jong-suk·Im Jong-su-Anyone other than mother: (Mom! How were you. Didn't I miss you?) Then. (Who wants to see you the most?) Son. (Yeah. Son. After that?) You.] The

high-performance sound system that clearly hears the small voices of the elderly has made communication easier.

[Parent Jeong-rye Kim-Daughter Ahn Ja-hun: I missed you. (Oh, I missed my mother. We too.) Oh, and I like it. Good. (Don't cry.) Thank you for letting me meet you here.] The

glass wall blocked the possibility of infection, but I installed quarantine gloves like this to hold hands and feel the warmth of my family.

[Children Kang Min-hee and Kang Dong-hoon-Mother Park Young-soon: (Are you strong? My mom is doing a lot of exercise?) Then walk the hallway and go back and forth.]

[Park Young-soon/Residing in a nursing facility: When we hold hands, love collides with each other in our hearts.] We

also share video calls with family members who could not come through the large screen installed on the wall.

[Kim Jeong-rye/parents living in nursing homes: Kihyun? (Oh, it's Kihyun.) Kihyun? Oh, good. (I'm a kid, my mom?) This is the youngest.] Although

the installation cost of about 40 million won is a burden, the Seoul Metropolitan Government has opened the design of the visiting space for free so that the nursing facilities they want can utilize.
