The Ministry of Justice delivered a list of candidates for the next Prosecutor General to the nominating committee members today (26th).



The Ministry of Justice said that this morning it has delivered the review data on about 10 candidates for the Prosecutor General to the members of the Prosecutor General's Candidate Recommendation Committee.



All of the personnel recommended during the national referral period in March were listed as the subject of judging.



Anyone who has more than 15 years of legal experience can be advocated.



It is known that the prosecution included Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office Lee Seong-yoon, Gu Bon-seon Gwangju High Prosecutors' Office, Cho Nam-gwan Deputy Prosecutor General, Han Dong-hoon, Prosecutor's Officer Im Eun-jeong, Supreme Prosecutor's Office Policy Researcher.



Former prosecutors are said to have been named by former Vice Minister of Justice Kim Oh-soo and former Busan High Prosecutors' Office.



After reviewing these screening materials in advance, the nominating committee selects three or more persons at the meeting on the 29th and recommends them to Justice Minister Park Bum-gye, and Minister Park proposes one of them to President Moon Jae-in.



Considering the president's nominations and personnel hearing procedures, the new president is expected to begin his term in late May or early June.
