A man in his 40s who committed obscene behavior in front of a teenage girl was sentenced to probation.
Judge Park Jin-sook, the third exclusive criminal for the Pohang Branch of the Daegu District Court, said that A (41), who was accused of violating the Child Welfare Act, ordered two years of probation and 40 hours of sexual violence treatment classes after six months in prison.
While talking with a friend on a street in Buk-gu, Pohang, around 8 p.m. on the 25th of October last year, Mr. A was charged with obscene behavior by lowering his pants and underwear when he made eye contact with a teenage girl.
The judge said, "The defendant is not lightly guilty of committing the crime again, even though he has already received a conditional suspension of prosecution in education for performance obscene."
However, he said, "I confess and reflect on the crime, and take into account the fact that I have not yet been subjected to criminal punishment, and I am sentenced to probation."
