Yesterday, 785 new cases of Corona 19 occurred.

It is a scale threatening 800 people for two consecutive days.

Among the new confirmed cases, 760 are domestic infection cases, excluding 25 foreign patients.

509 people were infected in metropolitan areas such as Seoul and Gyeonggi, and 251 people were also infected in non-capital areas. In particular, around 50 confirmed cases occurred in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, where the spread of the non-metropolitan areas is not serious in recent years.

The number of confirmed cases in the metropolitan area and these regions account for more than 86% of the total.

At a senior citizen protection center in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, more than 50 confirmed patients, including users and workers, were confirmed, and 5 additional people were confirmed at a karaoke room in Songpa-gu, Seoul, where group infection occurred, and a total of 11 people, including employees and users, have been infected.

As infection persists sporadically in everyday life, not limited to specific places, the government is expanding preemptive inspections and strengthening quarantine inspections under the responsibility of the minister.

The health authorities explained that the situation is different from the third epidemic in which the number of severely ill patients has rapidly increased while keeping an eye on the recent spread.

[Yeon Tae-ho/Head of quarantine prevention team, Jungsu-bon (Yesterday): The proportion of patients with severe gastric disorders among all patients is maintained at a fairly low level compared to the tertiary epidemic.]

Yesterday, 158,000 people a day received the vaccine. That's right, so far, 2.95,400 people have completed the first vaccination.

The number of reports of adverse reactions after vaccination was added yesterday to 321 cases, totaling 13,332 cases so far.
