Two employees of the Pakistani embassy in Korea were caught stealing goods from a supermarket.

On February 23rd, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul received a report that a foreign customer stole a hat worth 11,000 won and ran away from a mart in Itaewon-dong.

As a result of closed-circuit TV analysis, the culprit was Mr. A, an employee of the Pakistani embassy.

The police said that Mr. A was a foreign diplomat in Korea, so he was subject to immunity, a fellow employee of Mr. A paid the price for the mother and child, and that the victim did not want to be punished, so the investigation was closed without filing a claim.

On January 20th, a video of Mr. B, a Pakistani embassy employee, sneaked 1,900 won worth of chocolate at the same mart, was caught on TV in a closed circuit.

The police received a report early this month and are conducting an internal investigation.

Mr. B is also eligible for immunity.
