Today (24th) around 11:20 p.m., a fire broke out at the new officetel construction site in Dasan 2-dong, Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do.
One person in the building fell down and died in this fire.
The cause of the fall has not been identified.
The fire started on the 5th floor of a 19-story building construction site, and there were about 50 people working inside the building at the time.
It is known that 17 people were rescued by fire helicopters and the rest were evacuated by themselves.
The building that had a fire had been framed, and the exterior and interior walls of the building were being built.
The fire department is working on a search inside the building after catching a big flame around 12:57 in the afternoon, about an hour and a half after the fire broke out.
