number of new confirmed cases counted by the quarantine authorities from 0:00 to 9:00 pm yesterday was 737.
That's 87 more than the 650 totaled in the same time period yesterday.
Soon, the number of confirmed cases added for 3 hours from 9 o'clock last night to 0 o'clock today is expected to be counted, and if this is added, the number of confirmed cases per day is expected to reach around 800.
It was on January 7th, which was the third pandemic, the last time 800 confirmed cases were released.
By major infection cases, 36 people were infected at the Elderly Day Care Center in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, and 8 more people related to restaurants were infected in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
In this trend, there are concerns among experts that the number of confirmed cases is likely to rise to 1,000 soon.
The percentage of confirmed cases with unknown infection routes was 29%, the highest since April last year, when related statistics began to be collected, and the number of severely ill patients increased to 125 in three days, which had declined to 90.
The government is still in the position that there is no need to raise the distance from small businesses and self-employed people because there is still enough medical care available.
However, as there is no clear measure to prevent the increase in confirmed cases at the current stage, the pressure to increase the distance is expected to increase.
