He clarified that the module will be made more "independent" in matters of orientation in space, energy and life support systems.

Earlier, the head of Roscosmos told the details about the creation of the Russian space station.

Rogozin said that maintaining the Russian segment of the ISS will require approximately the same funds as will be required from 2025 to deploy a separate national Russian orbital station.

In April, Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov announced that the Russian side is withdrawing from the International Space Station project from 2025 and plans to start creating a new national orbital station.
