Apple presented new iMacs on Tuesday evening.

The computers have been completely redesigned for the first time in years, feature the new M1 chips and come in a variety of colors.

In addition, new iPad Pros with the M1 chip will appear.

The new iMac is completely flat and has a 24-inch screen.

Yet it is about the same size as its predecessor (21.5 inches).

That's because the edges have been made thinner.

The camera has also been improved.

The webcam for video calling now offers a resolution of 1,080 pixels.

The microphones have also been improved and must filter out ambient noise.

In addition, the new iMac is equipped with six speakers.

The computer works with the M1 chip that can also be found in the new MacBooks and Mac mini.

Users can also run iOS apps on the computer, although the iMac does not have a touchscreen.

Apple will release the new iMac in May.

The cheapest model costs 1,449 euros.

Prices increase depending on the number of connections and performances.

iPad Pro with M1 chip and miniled

Apple also presented a new iPad Pro.

The tablet, just like the MacBooks and iMacs, will be equipped with Apple's M1 chip.

The iPad Pro should work a lot faster with this.

The iPad Pro again appears in an 11-inch version and a 12.9-inch version.

The latter will get a completely new miniled screen.

Among other things, this can be used to show higher contrasts.

The 11-inch version retains the same LCD screen as its predecessor.

Incidentally, the iPad Pros do not change in appearance.

The model retains its flat, angular design.

The iPad Pro does receive support for Thunderbolt, USB4 and 5G.

Furthermore, the camera has been renewed.

The iPad Pro gets a wide-angle lens and can take photos of 12 megapixels.

Apple presented Center Stage, a feature that allows the user to move in front of the camera while the camera follows him.
