Grandfather, who left 20 million won in cash for surgery, on the bus, recovered the money with the help of the police.

According to the Busan Police Agency, yesterday (12th) around 11:50 am, 80-year-old A made an urgent call to 112.

Mr. A got off at the Beomgok Intersection in Busanjin-gu after taking the bus at Anjak-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan to meet his wife that day.

But after a while, I noticed that I had left my bag on the bus.

In the bag, there was 20 million won in cash saved to pay for spinal surgery.

Police Chief Kim Wi-young and Police officer Kim Do-hyun of Seomyeon District University of Busanjin Police Station received a report from Mr. A saying that "I left only 20 million won for surgery on the city bus."

They searched the surroundings, calming the restless Mr. A, but the bus had already moved away.

At this time, Policeman Kim installed an application on his phone that allowed him to use his base to check the location of the bus in real time.

When the location of the bus that Mr. A left behind the money was found, Soon-kyung Kim took a patrol car with Mr. A and followed the bus.

After running about 10km, Policeman Kim was able to stop the bus ahead of him. Fortunately, the bag on the bus chair contained cash rolled up in newspaper.

The police said that Mr. A, who recovered his precious surgical expenses within 15 minutes of reporting, even bowed and thanked the police officers.
