<Reporter> The

sightseeing train operated by Eco Land has collapsed by the railroad.

Two out of four trains are turned upside down.

It was around 2:30 pm today when the tourist train was overturned at Eco Land, a tourist destination in Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si.

A tourist train that was going on a downhill curve fell under the railroad tracks.

At the time of the accident, 37 passengers were on the train, including one engineer.

A 55-year-old suffered a back injury, and all 24 people were injured and taken to the hospital.

[Eco Land official: I am a train station mechanic and I work on the track repair side, but I don't have to go over like this, but no matter how much I think about it, I don't understand.]

At the time of the accident, it was known that there was a lot of heavy rain and strong winds at the site.

Because of this, there is also a possibility that the wheels of the train may have slipped off the track or fell by a strong wind.

[Eco Land official: Because the wind here is the same as that of today's typhoon.] At

Eco Land, a tourist train accident occurred in 2011 and 2013 as well.

Eco Land has been temporarily closed indefinitely due to a train accident.

The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident, not only because of the weather, but also because there may be a variety of causes, such as a mistake in the operation of an engineer or a brake problem.
