On the 5th, the Seoul Western District Law fined 200,000 won on former comedian Moo who is accused of drunk driving.

In the first trial, Mr. Jeon was fined 6 million won.

In March of last year, Jeon bumped into a taxi while driving an electric scooter while drunk on a road in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

At the time of the accident, Mr. Jeon's blood alcohol concentration was 0.134%, which was the level of revoked license.

However, in the second trial, the revised road traffic law was applied and the fines were drastically reduced.

On June 9, last year, the revised Road Traffic Law added a clause stating, "If you drive a personal mobile device such as a bicycle (electric kickboard or) while drunk, you will be fined up to 200,000 won.

Accordingly, the second trial court applied the revised Road Traffic Act to Mr. Jeon and reduced the fine to 200,000 won.

The court explained the reason for the sentence, saying, "After the crime, the regulations on the punishment for drunk driving on personal mobile devices were changed in favor of the defendant."
