court cited a request for confiscation by the Korean police, Mr. Jeong Mo and his acquaintance A, for whom an arrest warrant was claimed for purchasing land using undisclosed information.

In 2017, Jung worked in the new town development department at LH's Gwangmyeong Siheung Headquarters, and was accused of buying land with Mr. A in Noonsa-dong, Gwangmyeong City, using internal information.

Not only was he in charge of the new city development task, but he was known to have handed the development information to his family, acquaintances, and people related to the LH Jeonbuk Headquarters.

The police estimate that there are 36 people associated with Chung, and they have purchased 22 lots of land in Noonsa-dong from March 2017 to December of the following year.

The land for which the court decided to confiscate and preserve was 1,700 square meters of 4 parcels, and it was investigated that the shares were divided into three people, including Mr. A.

At the time of purchase, the price was reported to be around 2.5 billion won, but the current market price of the land is known to have increased by about 4 times to exceed 10 billion won.

If confiscation preservation is cited, the illegally profitable property cannot be disposed of at will until the offender is convicted.

The police plan to take measures to recover the remaining 18 parcels as soon as they confirm illegal matters.

Earlier, arrest warrants have been requested for two people, including Mr. Jung, and the warrant will be held on the 12th.

The police are also confiscating and searching five locations, including LH headquarters, Gyeonggi regional headquarters, and employee residences, to investigate LH employees who are suspected of speculating on the planned development site in Seongnam.
