A victim who fell in serious condition due to a four-fold collision at the intersection of Jeju National University secured the necessary blood with the help of the residents.

According to the Jeju Blood Institute of the Korean Red Cross, 107 people donated blood for Kim Mo (21), a victim of the accident yesterday (8th), and 42,000 ml of blood was collected.

Earlier, Kim's father asked for an AB type (RH+) designated blood donation on social media yesterday afternoon, saying, "My daughter bleeds a lot at the time of the accident.

Kim, who was in the seat in front of the bus, was taken to the hospital with cardiac arrest at the time of the accident and managed to recover his pulse after receiving CPR, but he is still in critical condition.

After receiving the unfortunate news, the number of residents went to the Jeju Blood Center and the blood donation house.

An official from the Jeju Blood Institute said, "Average 70 to 80 blood donations are made on weekdays, but 152 people, twice as many as yesterday, donated blood." He said.

The official said, "In particular, the AB blood type is very small, at the level of 10% of the Korean population, and in half a day, more than 10 times more AB blood than usual was collected."

In this regard, Kim's father posted a post on social media, saying, "I received an unbearable amount of help" and said, "I am worried about how to repay this favor in the future."

He said, "Thank you very much. My daughter has finished the surgery safely and is waiting for the progress. I have collected blood for the time being," he said.
