A voice control system, comparable to the models of Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant, will appear on Spotify.

The service will concern the iOS and Android applications of the Swedish streaming music giant, said an article in

The Verge on

Wednesday.

The application must remain open

Once the function is activated, all you have to do is say the phrase “Hey Spotify” for the digital assistant to listen to you.

It will then be possible, using only the voice, to start playing or pause a track, play a playlist and open a radio station.

It will also be possible to ask the assistant to select a song that you like in the Daily Mix playlist.

However, it will be necessary to leave the application open for the Spotify assistant to work.

A system different from Apple's Siri or Amazon's Alexa, for example, which can be launched from the operating system.

For the moment, the service is being deployed and only a limited number of users can launch the “Hey Spotify” service, specifies the
