Police investigation continues on Kim Tae-hyun, who was arrested for killing three mothers and daughters in an apartment in Seoul.

As the facts of a brutal crime were revealed, and the uprising was growing, our reporters met and heard the story of her mother's older sister who died.

Reporter Han Sung-hee delivers.

<Reporter> My

sister can't believe that her younger brother, mother and daughter, who had a strong family love, left like this.

[Dead Mother Sister: (Sister) I raised my children by devoting my whole body to work.

The oldest kid has just entered the company, and the second is now in her senior year.

I can't even see it...

.]

Most of all, it's a pity that I was stalked for 3 months and I couldn't report it once.

[Dead Mother Sister:'I'm scared, so I go around the house','Appears in black padding on the first floor'.

.]

If there is anything I want, I don't want my brother's family's sacrifices to be in vain.

[Dead Mother Sister: I hope that the awareness of the fear of stalking will be a little imprinted in society.]

On the 24th of last month, the day after the three mothers and daughters were sacrificed, a bill that could punish stalking has crossed the threshold of the National Assembly.

It is now possible to punish the stalking crime, which was lightly passed to a fine of 100,000 won, with a prison sentence of up to three years.

It is expected to be implemented at the end of September this year, but there is still a lot to be done.

It is up to the victim to be recognized as stalking and to prove it only if the act is consistent and repeated.

[Cho Min-keun/Attorney: It is difficult to judge how much of the victim's damage behavior should be'continuous or repetitive' even from a victim's point of view...

.]

There are many cases of reluctance to report for fear of retaliation, but if the victim does not want to, it cannot be punished.

Even if the perpetrator violates the restraining measures, it only imposes a fine.

[Stalking Victims: It is the most anxious that penalties such as fines for penalties will be lowered, which will lead to greater damage in the future.] It

is urgent to supplement the bill so that the second and third damages do not occur.
