Verizon recently announced the complete shutdown of its Yahoo Answers - Yahoo Q&A - service on May 4.

The portal answering questions of all kinds from Internet users will go into "read-only" mode from April 20, says the website of the service.

There is a page dedicated to “questions that may arise during the process” of final shutdown.

One response states that the changes in April and then May “are specific to Yahoo Answers.

They will have no effect on your Yahoo account or any other Yahoo service ”.

The deadline for requesting the sending of personal content on the platform has been set for June 30, 2021.

Collect your contributions

Once the download request is submitted, it may take up to 30 days to process.

Affected users will receive an email informing them that the requested download can be completed.

This process cannot concern the contributions of a third-party user.

The only data recoverable by an Internet user are the questions, the answers, the lists and the images that this person has published in Yahoo Questions / Answers.
