A passenger who flees after wielding a weapon by a taxi driver was found dead in a motel, and the police investigated.
The Seoul Dobong Police Department said it was investigating a passenger found dead after wielding a weapon at a taxi driver and running away.
At about 9:10 p.m. on the 2nd, passenger A, in a taxi running through Ssangmun-dong, Dobong-gu, Seoul, escaped after swinging a weapon at the driver.
The driver was reported to have suffered abrasions.
A citizen who witnessed the crime reported to the police and pursued Mr. A, but Mr. A was found dead in a motel in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul.
At the motel, it is said that a suspicious note written by Mr. A was found.
The police believe that there is no possibility of death and will close the case without conducting an autopsy on Mr. A.
