Several fire trucks surround the tank with fiery flames soaring.

At around 1:30 in the morning, a fire broke out with a loud explosion at an LPG charging station in Suwan-dong, Gwangju.

There were only 37 reports of the same content that came to 119.

[Neighboring funeral home employee: It was loud enough to make our building ring.

There's a sound like a'bang'.

About three or four times the sound of lightning?] It

is estimated that an explosion occurred in an LPG underground storage tank with a capacity of 20 tons, and it is said that about 3 tons of gas remained in the tank.

Fortunately, there was no human injury.

However, all of the offices in the charging station were burned and some of the surrounding buildings were damaged.

The first stage of the response was initiated in which all personnel from the fire department in charge were issued, but the valve was difficult to shut off and the spouted flame was so strong that there was no proper extinguishing method other than spraying water from a long distance.

[Fire department officials: There is no way to block it, so it is spontaneously burning.] The

fire department is planning to investigate the exact cause of the accident as soon as the firefighting is completed.
