On the night of the 30th of last month, an article titled'Investigator asking the prosecutor to kneel' was posted on a bulletin board inside the police.



This is an article posted by Policeman A of the Seoul Gwanak Police Station.



Police officer A claimed that Inspector B, an investigative investigator, called to the office and said, "Go to the prosecutor in charge right away and kneel and apologize."



Police officer A said that he did his best to take on a fraud case near the expiration of the statute of limitations.



Regarding this, the investigator explained that it was not the purpose of kneeling, just saying, "I heard that I have kneeled to the prosecutor for this kind of thing in the past."



However, the controversy grew out of control, with additional issues raised by other police officers saying "I feel helpless at the perpetrator's plea."



Over 400 comments were posted.



In addition, complaints about the investigative examiner system, which was introduced after the adjustment of the investigative powers of the prosecutors, have been raised.



A veteran police officer with more than 20 years of experience advises the investigation of juniors, but he is also serving as a rooftop while directing the investigation.



The head of the Gwanak Police Department said that as the excommunication grew, he would directly apologize and confirm the facts.
