Germany recently stopped vaccinating AstraZeneca from people under the age of 60.

In addition, Canada also prevented AstraZeneca from being hit by those under the age of 55.

This is because of the results of investigations that vaccine adverse reactions appear differently depending on the age, and medical reporter Cho Dong-chan pointed out whether there is a part for us to refer to.

When I asked 532 domestic medical professionals who had been vaccinated, 32% of Pfizer and 78% of AstraZeneca responded that they had systemic adverse reactions such as high fever and chills.

This was especially common among young people in their 20s and 30s who received the AstraZeneca vaccine.

[Lee Sang-deok/Director of Otolaryngology Hospital: In my 60s, there were almost no symptoms.

Those in their 20s and 30s were very high.

The most common abnormality was muscle pain, 70% (appeared.)] When the

British government analyzed 11 million Pfizer vaccinations and 13 million AstraZeneca vaccinations, Pfizer 3 out of 1,000, AstraZeneca had adverse reactions in 6 out of every 1,000 people.

However, people over the age of 65 had less adverse reactions and mild symptoms even if they received the AstraZeneca vaccine.

If you get AstraZeneca vaccine for those over 65 years old and Pfizer vaccine for younger people, adverse reactions can be reduced.

Cases of cerebral blood clots from AstraZeneca vaccine were also unknown, but most were younger than 55 years of age.

That's why Germany and Canada only allowed the AstraZeneca vaccine to older people.

The Korea Vaccination Advisory Committee also discussed these age-specific vaccination strategies.

[Vaccination Committee: If the AstraZeneca vaccine had been vaccinated in the elderly, and it was discussed that Pfizer vaccine could reduce the frequency of such adverse reactions at a younger age.)]

Develop a vaccination strategy to reduce adverse reactions

.

To do this, you must first have enough vaccines.
