Google wants to help you clean up your paperwork.

The Mountain View firm is currently developing an application that will scan and classify documents automatically from an Android smartphone using a system based on artificial intelligence, reports a statement from the company.

Called Stack, this application will analyze the content of a document scanned using an Android smartphone in order to extract the most important information that will help to name and classify the file.

Once the user has scanned various documents via this application, he can perform keyword searches to quickly find a specific file.

Available in the United States

In order to guarantee the security of the documents, the American giant explained that they would be saved locally and that the user would have to go through the Google account login module.

In addition, it will be possible to add additional security by deciding to use identification by facial recognition or using a fingerprint.

The Mountain View firm also specified that the documents can be automatically saved to a Google Drive account.

Stack is not yet finalized and is currently only available in the United States.

His arrival in France is not yet planned.
