Yesterday (30th), an 18-month-old child was found dead in a daycare center in Daejeon.

The daycare center reported that the child who was taking a nap is not breathing, but the police investigated.

2 pm yesterday, a report was received at a family daycare center in Jung-gu, Daejeon, that an 18-month-old girl is not breathing.



An paramedic who was dispatched was transferred to a nearby hospital while performing CPR, but the child eventually died.



During the nap time that lasted until 2 pm, when the child who had fallen asleep in the nursery with other friends did not wake up, the day care center director A directly reported to 119.



No trauma was found on the deceased child, who started attending the daycare center since last month.



According to the local ward office, a nursery teacher was resident in the nursery where the children were sleeping at the time of the accident, but we were not able to find the death of the child.



The police are investigating whether there have been any problems in the process after confirming that the director A himself held a sleepless child to sleep.

Director A revealed to the reporters that there were no specifics to the child who died while taking a nap, and it is known that the possibility of an allergic reaction through food was raised in a reference survey.
