There are 10 members of the National Assembly who have been subject to the accusation and the suspicion of speculation by themselves or their families.

However, the police did not disclose who the lawmakers were investigated.

Earlier, civic groups have accused the police of Democratic Party Seo Young-seok, people's strength Kang Ki-yoon, and independent lawmaker Jeon Bong-min.

Police said an investigation into two high-ranking officials is also underway.

In addition to Lee Mo, former head of the Multifunctional Administrative City Construction Administration, who recently started a forced investigation, there are more high-ranking public officials suspected of speculation that the police have identified themselves.

The securing of new suspects is also speeding up.

South Gyeonggi Province is planning to apply for an arrest warrant today (31st) for former Gyeonggi-do government official Kim Mo, who is accused of speculation in the Yongin semiconductor industrial complex.

It is accused of speculating in the vicinity of the planned development site under the name of the vehicle and aiming for market price gains, but a police official said that Kim confirmed the situation in which Mr. Kim used internal information during the speculation process.

Nam Gu-jun, head of the Noodles Headquarters, said he would expand the investigation to planning real estate.

[Nam Gu-jun / Head of the National Investigation Headquarters: We will expand the investigation to planning real estate.

On this occasion, we will be investigating with the attitude that we will surely eradicate real estate speculation.]

A complaint against former Cheong Wa Dae policy chief Kim Sang-jo, which was hardened by the controversy over the increase in the jeonse price, has also been filed, and is drawing attention on whether it will lead to an actual investigation.
