[Police officials: (Did you secure some related data?)…

.] The

police confiscated and searched five locations, including LH headquarters and Ansan City Hall, to confirm the charges of Mr. Park Mo, the wife of former assistant minister of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security Jeon Jeon-cheol, who is suspected of speculation in the new city.

Park is under suspicion that he bought 1,550㎡ of land in Jangsang-dong, Ansan-si, in April 2019 using the information on the 3rd new city development.

A substantive examination of an arrest warrant was also held for Park Mo, a public official in Pocheon, who bought land and buildings near the planned train station.

Whether or not the court will issue an arrest warrant is expected to be decided as early as today (29th) night.

As the land owned by himself and his family was developed, Jeonnam Gwangyang Mayor Jeong Hyeon-bok, a controversial conflict of interest, was also established.

Unlike the speedy investigation of politicians and public officials, the legal process for former and current LH employees is getting longer than expected.

Ten days have passed since the investigation was initiated by summoning and investigating the key suspect, Mr. Kang Mo, but the judicial proceedings against former and current LH employees have not yet been carried out.

In order to confiscate speculative profits, it is necessary to apply the'Anti-Corruption Act' in the end, but it is also interpreted that it is having difficulty in proving whether the information obtained in business secrets was used.
