A new assault on a journalist took place on Saturday in Ardèche.

An image reporter for the France 3 channel was attacked by an individual while interviewing residents in a market.

The man tried to flee but was arrested by the gendarmes.

A journalist reporting images from France 3 was assaulted in Ardèche on Saturday morning while filming an interview on the market in the town of Les Vans, where a rally hostile to health measures was to be held.

A man intervened, asking those who would answer if they were not ashamed to speak to journalists.

The individual then hit the camera, injuring the reporter in the face.

He then tried to flee but was finally arrested by the gendarmes.

The channel indicated in the wake that it would file a complaint against the attacker.

"The information department of France Televisions, the management of the regional network of France 3 and the regional management of France 3 Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes strongly condemn this unbearable attack on a journalist in the exercise of his business to inform and will file a complaint, "said the various departments in a joint statement.
