In Nowon-gu, Seoul, a suspect who murdered three women who are believed to be mothers and daughters was arrested by police.
The Seoul Nowon Police Department arrested a man who was a suspect in an apartment in Junggye-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, after receiving a report from an acquaintance of the victim saying "I can't contact my friend" around 9 p.m. on the 25th.
At the time of the police call, all three women, believed to be mothers and daughters, were all dead.
Police believe the man killed three mothers and daughters with a weapon.
Before being arrested by the police, the man has suffered a disturbance of self-harm and is currently being treated in a hospital. The police will investigate the relationship with the victims and the motives of the crime as soon as the man finishes treatment.
