Last night, a big fire broke out at the Haitai Confectionery Factory in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, and about 60 employees were evacuated in an emergency.
The fire authorities ignited a great fire within three hours after the second phase of the response, mobilizing all personnel from nearby fire departments, was issued.

At 8:20 last night, a fire broke out at the Haitai Confectionery Factory in Cheonan, Chungnam.
The fire department has issued a second phase of response, mobilizing personnel and equipment from nearby fire departments within 20 minutes of reporting.
33 vehicles and 140 firefighters were put in, and it caught a big fire in about 3 hours.

factory consisted of 10 buildings, but it was found that the fire was transferred to only one building with four floors.
The fire department believes the fire started from a plastic material placed in front of the building.

3:50 pm yesterday, a fire broke out in a hill in Hwachon-myeon, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do.
Firefighting authorities put 7 helicopters and about 100 personnel to extinguish the fire, and the fire burned 20ha of hillside and was completely extinguished around 0:40 am today.
No one was injured, but four nearby residents were evacuated to the Welfare Center in case of an emergency.
Forest officials plan to put in additional helicopters as soon as the day comes, for final firefighting.
