Two out of 10 adverse reactions reported after getting the COVID-19 vaccine were found to be related to vaccination.

The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced the evaluation results of 10 adverse reactions reported as suspected and severe cases of anaphylaxis through a briefing today (22nd) afternoon.

Of the two cases where the causality of vaccination was recognized, one was a symptom of anaphylaxis, a severe systemic allergic reaction within 10 minutes after vaccination, and the other one showed high fever, convulsions, and decreased blood pressure after vaccination.

The KCDC said that the two cases where causality was recognized were all vaccinated people who received the AstraZeneca vaccine.

This is the first time in Korea that the causality of the vaccine and adverse reactions after vaccination has been confirmed after vaccination has started.
