Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency, which is investigating allegations of speculation by public officials in Pocheon City, Gyeonggi-do, called Pocheon City Hall A, Manager A as a suspect, to investigate this morning.

Manager A bought land and prefabricated buildings across from Songwoori site in Pocheon City, where the urban railway station is scheduled to be built in September last year.

Since most of the purchase cost amounting to 4 billion won was covered by loans, and the city hall was in charge of the project right before the purchase of the land, the police reported that it was possible to speculate using the information learned during the job.

A police official said, "While confiscating and analyzing the data related to Manager A, we confirmed meaningful data to support the allegations."

Investigation of former and current employees of LH who purchased the planned site for the 3rd new city development in Gwangmyeong and Siheung is also expected to speed up.

The South Gyeonggi Police Agency called for three people, including the key suspect Kang Mo, who bought the most land yesterday, and plans to call the rest of the staff in turn starting tomorrow as soon as possible.

Among them, it is known that a couple who attended LH bought a new city project together or bought a land with Mr. Kang.

However, it is expected that additional seizure searches and investigations of related persons will continue as it is necessary to prove that the use of inside information learned during business was used when buying the land.
