Yesterday (20th), around 6:16 pm, a fire broke out at a waste vinyl recycling plant in Buk-myeon, Jeongeup-si, Jeollabuk-do.
Although there was no injury to people, 260 square meters of factory buildings suffered property damage equivalent to an estimated 21 million won in other fire departments.
As more than 50 tons of waste plastic in the factory were burned, the fire department had a hard time clearing up the remaining fire, and the flame was completely extinguished in 7 hours.
Police and fire authorities believe that a fire has started in a waste vinyl incinerator and are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
