Gyeongbuk Uiseong Police Department announced today (19th) that A (52) was arrested for assaulting a convenience store employee who requested wearing a mask (special injury).



According to the police, Mr. A became angry at a convenience store in Uiseong-eup, Gyeongsangbuk-do around 10 p.m. on the 7th, and was accused of hitting the head several times with a wine bottle displayed in the store when an employee asked for "use a mask."



Mr. A, who had been drinking alcohol at the time of the crime, is known to have stated in a police investigation that "I went to a convenience store to buy a cigarette, but I misunderstood that the employee asked me to wear a mask in plain language and hit me."



A police official said, "The convenience store employee was transposed and injured for three weeks due to the assault," and said, "We plan to send the case to the prosecution soon."
