Animal rights groups have accused the police of a driver who killed a dog by hitting a family of stray dogs on the road with a vehicle.

On the 14th, the Animal Freedom Solidarity announced that it had accused the driver of animal abuse in connection with the ‘Starex vehicle killing a stray dog in Changwon, Gyeongnam.’

In the video released together, the Starex car was surprised as it went straight toward the four stray dogs without slowing down.

Obviously, it was a distance where you could see the stray dogs moving, but the driver did not show any signs of hesitation.

The driver did not stop even when a resident who had witnessed the accident urgently knocked on the window and signaled to stop.

Eventually, shortly afterward, a puppy who could not escape while running in front of the vehicle was wound around the wheel of a car and died on the spot.

Even after the residents reported it to the police, the driver was known to show a dignified attitude, such as,'Why do you do that with one organic dog dead?'

The Animal Freedom Association angered, "If we had stopped the vehicle for a few seconds with a horn or two and waited for the stray dogs to pass by, the young dog would not have been killed miserably."

He expressed his regret, saying, "I was born as an organic dog and endured one harsh cold winter and I was able to meet the first warm spring with my family now, but I wish the young dogs who had to end their lives in vain."

The group said, "We will do our best until the day of punishment by monitoring the ongoing investigation so that the abuser can pay a reasonable price for the crimes committed by the abuser," while campaigning for signing a petition for severe punishment of the driver through the website. We are calling for participation.
