The police, who are investigating the suspicion that a public official in Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province, borrowed billions of won and dumped it on a real estate near the planned subway station, launched a forced investigation today (15th).
The Special Investigation Unit for real estate speculators at the Northern Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency has sent 14 investigators from around 10 a.m. today and announced that it is searching for the residence of Pocheon City Hall and A, where Pocheon executive official A is working.
Mr. A, who was in charge of the urban railroad extension project, is under suspicion of speculation by purchasing land and buildings near the planned railway station by borrowing 4 billion won through credit and mortgage loans.
