were 490 new corona19 confirmed yesterday, recording 400 people for five consecutive days.



Among the new confirmed cases, 474 are domestic outbreaks, excluding 16 foreign patients.



By region, 324 people came out from the metropolitan area, including 138 people in Seoul and 160 in Gyeonggi Province, and 150 people were confirmed in non-metropolitan areas, including 61 confirmed patients in Gyeongnam, where a large-scale group infection occurred in a sauna.



Yesterday, 35,000 people were vaccinated against Corona 19 one day.



The cumulative number of vaccinations exceeded 583,000, and about three-quarters of the 780,000 people who were eligible for priority vaccination in the first quarter received the vaccine.



From next month, vaccination will begin for the general public, in addition to nursing facility officials and dedicated medical staff.



General national vaccinations are scheduled to start from 65 years of age and older, especially among the elderly.
