One passenger on a ferry from Busan to Jeju is missing, and a search for the sea is underway.

The Jeju Maritime Police Department announced today (12th) that it is searching for a report that passenger B is missing from the passenger ship A, which is moored at Jeju Port.

Flight A departed from Busan Port around 7 pm on the 10th and arrived at Jeju Port around 6 am on the 11th.

The crew members of No. A confirmed that passenger B's bag was left while cleaning the cabin immediately after arriving at Jeju Port.

Subsequently, at around 5:26 am on the 11th, while passing 4.6km northeast of Jeju Port through the closed circuit (CC) TV in the passenger ship, I saw the scene of the passenger B jumping into the sea and reported it to the Coast Guard.

The Jeju Coast Guard put 9 ships and 2 aircraft into the sea area near the estimated disappearance and conducted an overnight search and is continuing the search for the second day.

However, the coast guard said that the search was difficult due to a storm warning on the sea.
