An extension to recover the old version of Facebook -

Geeko

The strategy was already adopted by TikTok a few weeks ago.

Facebook is testing a new feature in the form of an advertising sticker that public figures can add to their Story, in order to be paid.

Content creators (influencers, digital publishers, video partners, large and small businesses, gamers, media organizations, cultural institutions and videographers) will be able to add ads to their Story in order to receive a percentage. on the revenue these ads generate, Facebook says.

Concretely, if such an individual shares his experience during a visit to a tourist site, he will be able to promote a local business via an advertising sticker in Story.

Support creators

"We want to allow more people to experience this fun of participating and supporting a creator, and we think this is a relatively new behavior that we want to make more ubiquitous in the app," and we think that's a great way to do that, ”Yoav Arnstein, chief product officer, told The Verge.

“We think it can also inspire creators to experiment more with the type of content and the type of engagement directly with fans, which will actually allow and encourage that type of direct support from fans.

"

Testing of this new feature will initially be done with a small number of users, but Facebook plans to roll out its advertising stickers to more “soon”.

Facebook also wants to be able to apply this new tool to all the short videos offered on its platform.
