The two teenagers involved in the death of young Alisha, Monday evening, in Argenteuil, will be presented to an examining magistrate.

"The forensic elements indicate that the victim drowned," said the prosecutor of the Republic of Pontoise, Wednesday afternoon.

During a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, the public prosecutor of Pontoise gave an update on the death of young Alisha, a schoolgirl found dead drowned Monday evening in Argenteuil.

The two classmates involved in this death were referred for "murder", said the magistrate.

In a statement sent to AFP on Wednesday, the private vocational school Cognacq-Jay d'Argenteuil referred to a "situation of tension between these three students, following the hacking of the victim's phone and the dissemination of compromising photos by his two comrades ".

Disciplinary proceedings

These facts led the establishment to open disciplinary proceedings in early February.

Staff at the facility received the victim and his mother and advised them to file a complaint with the police.

The two suspects "had been the subject of a ban from going to the establishment and were summoned to a disciplinary council for this Tuesday", that is to say the day after the death of the young girl, reported the school.

"This is clearly a dispute between the two girls around the same young man," a source close to the investigation told AFP on Tuesday evening, deploring a "sordid history between schoolchildren".

A hypothesis also advanced by the mother of the suspect, who evoked Tuesday on BFMTV a "small love triangle".

The Versailles rectorate has set up a psychological support unit for the students of the Cognacq-Jay high school.
