It has been confirmed that Korea will bring 7 million doses, that is, 3.5 million people, out of the contract for AstraZeneca vaccine at the end of May.

It seems likely that the vaccination could speed it up.

The Corona 19 vaccine introduced in Korea so far is 750,000 AstraZeneca vaccines and 58,500 Pfizer vaccines.



Then, in the fourth and last week of this month, 500,000 servings each, for a total of 500,000 people.



Together, this amount is a little over 1.3 million people.



Health officials said that it was confirmed that 7 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine, or 3.5 million people, will enter the country in May.



In May, a significant portion of our government's 10 million contracts with AstraZeneca will be received.



When the 1.05 million AstraZeneca vaccines received through the international vaccine co-purchasing organization, Cobax Facility, are combined by next month, the vaccination of the elderly is expected to speed up.



Unlike Pfizer vaccine, AstraZeneca vaccine is relatively easy to store and distribute because it does not require cryogenic storage.



Currently, in nursing hospitals and nursing facilities, AstraZeneca vaccine is generally being vaccinated smoothly.



The introduction of Janssen, Modena, and NovaVax vaccines were scheduled in the second quarter, but the exact timing or quantity was not determined, and the



introduction of 3 million Pfizer vaccines was confirmed in the second quarter.
