A 14-year-old girl drowned last night in Argenteuil, in the Val d'Oise, after a dispute with two other teenagers from her high school.

The two suspects, a boy and a 15-year-old girl who were arrested, allegedly hit the victim on the banks of the Seine and pushed her into the river.

A 14-year-old girl drowned last night in Argenteuil, in the Val d'Oise, after a dispute with two other teenagers from her high school, according to information gathered by Europe 1. The two suspects, a boy and a girl from 15 years old, allegedly hit the victim on the banks of the Seine and pushed her into the river before fleeing. The remorseful teenagers confided in one of their parents before running away again, meanwhile the victim's mother reported her daughter's disturbing disappearance at around 8 p.m. Search operations were launched and his lifeless body was recovered around 9 p.m. The two fleeing 15-year-old students were finally arrested by the police in the night, around 2 a.m., when they had taken refuge with a friend. They were taken into custody in the premises of the judicial police responsible for the investigation. According to the victim's mother, the two suspects allegedly engaged in harassment on her daughter.
