The police, who are investigating allegations of speculation by employees of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), of speculation in the Gwangmyeong and Siheung new cities in Gyeonggi-do, started a forced investigation today (9th).
The Anti-Corruption Economic Crime Investigation Unit of the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency is sending investigators to the headquarters of Jinju LH in Gyeongnam Province this morning to obtain related data.
The seizure and search are carried out simultaneously at the LH Gwacheon Uiwang Business Headquarters in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, the LH Gwangmyeong Siheung Business Headquarters in Gwangmyeong, and the homes of 13 employees who are suspicious of speculation.
All 67 investigators were employed.
It is reported that three of the employees who were suspicious of speculation were employed at the Gwacheon Uiwang Business Headquarters, and the Gwangmyeong Siheung Business Headquarters is in charge of the 3rd new city project in Gwangmyeong Siheung, where speculation suspicions were raised.
