Twitter posted a warning on Monday in a tweet from Forum for Democracy leader Thierry Baudet.
According to the platform, the message that the party chairman posted on Sunday about corona vaccinations is misleading.
The warning will prevent his followers from liking or retweeting the post.
Nor can it be responded to.
Twitter supports the warning label with a statement from health officials.
As far as is known, it is the first time that the American medium has placed a warning on a tweet from a Dutch politician.
Baudet's message has not been removed by Twitter.
Last year, the platform explained that it would not do this because tweets from politicians are of public interest.
Instead, the social network provides the messages with a warning label.
In January, then-US President Donald Trump was permanently banned from Twitter for posting a series of tweets that violated the code of conduct.
