It was belatedly known that a passenger left a precious metal worth 100 million won in a taxi and recovered it in two hours with the help of the police.

According to the Daegu Western Police Station, a report from a woman in her 50s was received at around 12:40 on the 5th, saying, "I left about 100 precious metals such as earrings, necklaces, and bracelets in the taxi".

The value of precious metals was estimated to be about 100 million won.

The woman got on the bus at the Daegu Station and got off at a western hospital, counting it in cash, so the taxi number was unknown.

Police officers of the Seodo District University of the Western Police Station who were dispatched checked the closed circuit (CC) TV and black box around the drop-off area.

They couldn't verify the license plate number, but found that the vehicle type, color, and hospital wrapping ad had been posted.

Police searched and searched the area around Daegu Station, the departure point, assuming that the taxi would frequently board guests at the platform.

Around 2:40 pm, two hours after the report was received, the police found a taxi with the same wrapping advertisement.

When I opened the back seat, the lost item was still there.

Fortunately, the taxi driver did not pick up the next guest after lunch.

The reporter expressed his gratitude several times.

Police officers said, "I am fortunate to have recovered all the lost items," and said, "I am happy to be able to help the people who are in trouble."
