When a child was beaten by a friend at school, a 40-year-old who visited and beat the perpetrator was sentenced to probation.

The 12th Criminal Division of the Jeonju District Law (President Judge Kim Yu-rang) announced today (5th) that A (49), who was accused of violating the Child Welfare Act, was sentenced to 1 year in prison and 2 years probation.

The judge ordered Mr. A for 120 hours of community service.

Mr. A was charged with hitting a student in the face several times, saying, "Did you hit my son?" on October 22, 2019, when Mr. A learned that his child had been subjected to school violence.

On the same day, he met another friend who touted his son for a bicycle, scared him with a golf club, and was accused of inflicting three weeks of injuries in his arms and face.

The judge pointed out that "the defendant is not good at committing violence against young children and inflicting injuries with dangerous objects," and said, "We have not been forgiven from the victims and did not compensate for the damage."

He added, "The defendant has been sentenced to several fines for assault in the past." .
